Sleeping Witch & Saturn is a band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania formed by Matt Vituccio, Alex Nelson, Anna Shaw, and Rowdy Kanarek. They've been creating a unique blend of post-punk, new wave and indie rock since 2017.

Their debut LP, The Divine Madness of Spring, highlighted the member's personal styles and wide variety of influences. Consistent lyrical themes of mental illness and spirituality mark the record's introspective, layered character.

In recent work, Sleeping Witch translate their artsy and idiosyncratic approach into a groovy, pop-oriented framework à la Talking Heads, without losing the raw energy of acts like The Velvet Underground, Pavement, and Pixies.

The band's latest single, Mother's Day, is all at once characteristically dark, notably catchy, and ironically up-lifting.
